RETURN, REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY

At Marwan Arts India, customer satisfaction is important to us. As our products are handcrafted by skilled artisans, each item is unique. This Return, Refund & Exchange Policy explains the conditions under which returns, refunds and exchanges are accepted.

2. RETURN ELIGIBILITY

You may request a return within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery only if:

  • You received a damaged product.
  • You received the wrong product.
  • The product has a manufacturing defect.
  • The product is incomplete or missing essential components.
  • The item received is substantially different from what was ordered.

3. CONDITIONS FOR RETURN

Returned products must:

  • Be unused.
  • Be unwashed.
  • Be free from stains, perfume, smoke or damage caused after delivery.
  • Be returned with original packaging, tags, labels and accessories.
  • Include the original invoice or order confirmation where possible.

Products failing these conditions may not qualify for return or refund.

4. HANDMADE PRODUCT DISCLAIMER

All products sold by Marwan Arts India are handcrafted.

Minor variations in:

  • Colour
  • Texture
  • Finish
  • Weaving
  • Stitching
  • Embroidery
  • Wood Grain
  • Marble Pattern
  • Print Placement
  • Size (up to approximately ±2 inches)

are natural characteristics of handmade products and are not manufacturing defects.

Returns or refunds will not be accepted solely because of such natural variations.

5. NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

Unless required by law or where the product arrives damaged or incorrect, the following items are generally not eligible for return:

  • Customized or personalized products
  • Made-to-order products
  • Gift cards
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Products marked as "Non-Returnable"
  • Items damaged due to misuse, improper care or negligence

6. RETURN REQUEST PROCESS

To request a return:

  1. Email us at marwanartsindia@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery.
  2. Mention your order number and contact details.
  3. Describe the issue.
  4. Attach clear photographs.
  5. Provide an unboxing video (preferred for damage or wrong item claims).
  6. Wait for our confirmation before shipping the item back.

Unauthorized returns may be refused.

7. UNBOXING VIDEO REQUIREMENT

For claims involving:

  • Transit damage
  • Missing items
  • Wrong product
  • Broken items

customers are strongly advised to record a continuous unboxing video from the moment the sealed package is opened.

Failure to provide reasonable supporting evidence may affect our ability to approve the claim, where permitted by law.

8. RETURN SHIPPING

If the return is approved due to our error (wrong item, manufacturing defect or transit damage), Marwan Arts India may arrange return pickup or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs, subject to prior approval.

If the return is requested for reasons not attributable to us and is otherwise accepted, the customer may be responsible for return shipping charges.

9. INSPECTION OF RETURNED PRODUCTS

All returned products are inspected upon receipt.

Approval of a return, refund or exchange is subject to inspection and verification.

10. REFUNDS

If a refund is approved:

  • It will be processed using the original payment method, wherever possible.
  • Processing times depend on the payment gateway and banking institution.
  • Shipping charges, gift wrapping charges and expedited delivery charges are generally non-refundable unless required by law or due to our error.

11. PARTIAL REFUNDS

A partial refund may be issued where appropriate if:

  • The product is returned with missing accessories.
  • The item has been used beyond reasonable inspection.
  • The packaging is significantly damaged due to the customer's handling.

12. EXCHANGES

Eligible products may be exchanged subject to:

  • Stock availability.
  • Inspection of the returned item.
  • Compliance with this Policy.

If the requested replacement product is unavailable, we may offer a refund or another suitable alternative.

13. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

If your product arrives damaged or defective:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Share clear photographs and an unboxing video (where available).
  • Retain all original packaging until the claim is resolved.

14. WRONG PRODUCT RECEIVED

If you receive a product different from what you ordered:

  • Contact us within 48 hours.
  • Do not use or wash the item.
  • Keep the original packaging intact.

Upon verification, we will arrange an appropriate resolution.

15. REFUSAL OF RETURNS

Marwan Arts India reserves the right to refuse a return request if:

  • The return window has expired.
  • The product has been used, altered or damaged after delivery.
  • The item is returned without authorization.
  • The issue is based solely on acceptable handmade variations.
  • Evidence supporting the claim is insufficient.

16. INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

International customers are responsible for complying with local export/import requirements when returning products.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, customs duties, import taxes and return shipping costs for international returns are the responsibility of the customer, except where the return is due to our verified error.

17. FRAUD PREVENTION

To protect against fraudulent claims, Marwan Arts India may request additional information, documentation or verification before approving a return, refund or exchange.

Fraudulent claims may be rejected and may result in restriction of future purchases.

18. FORCE MAJEURE

We shall not be liable for delays in processing returns or refunds caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, transportation disruptions or other force majeure events.

19. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Marwan Arts India reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time.

Updated versions become effective upon publication on the Website.
