Please read and follow the care instructions below.

1. GENERAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Handle all products with care.
  • Keep products away from excessive moisture and direct sunlight.
  • Avoid exposure to extreme heat or humidity.
  • Clean products using recommended methods only.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Store products in a clean, dry and well-ventilated place.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to water unless specifically mentioned as water-resistant.

2. HANDMADE PRODUCT DISCLAIMER

Each Marwan Arts India product is handcrafted.

Minor variations in:

3. COTTON PRODUCTS

(Applies to Bed Sheets, Dohars, Quilts, Cushion Covers, Table Linen, Napkins and similar products.)

Washing Instructions

  • Wash separately before first use.
  • Machine wash on a gentle cycle or hand wash.
  • Use cold or lukewarm water (maximum 30°C).
  • Use a mild detergent.
  • Wash dark colours separately.

Avoid

  • Bleach
  • Strong detergents
  • Fabric softeners in excess
  • Hot water
  • Overloading the washing machine

Drying

  • Dry in shade.
  • Avoid prolonged direct sunlight.
  • Tumble dry on low heat if recommended.

Ironing

  • Iron at medium temperature.
  • Do not iron directly on embroidery or decorative prints.

4. QUILTS & DOHARS

  • Dry clean is recommended for premium quilts.
  • If washing at home, use a gentle cycle.
  • Air dry completely before storing.
  • Do not store while damp.
  • Fold carefully to maintain shape.
  • Avoid placing heavy objects on stored quilts.

5. TABLE LINEN

(Table Runners, Table Mats, Napkins, Dining Accessories)

  • Wipe spills immediately.
  • Wash gently with mild detergent.
  • Avoid soaking for long periods.
  • Iron at medium temperature if required.
  • Store flat or neatly folded.

6. WOODEN PRODUCTS

  • Dust regularly with a soft dry cloth.
  • Do not soak in water.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaning pads.
  • Keep away from excessive heat.
  • Keep away from prolonged moisture.
  • Use wood polish occasionally if appropriate for the finish.

Natural wood grains and knots are normal features and enhance authenticity.

7. MARBLE PRODUCTS

  • Wipe using a soft damp cloth.
  • Dry immediately after cleaning.
  • Do not use acidic cleaners.
  • Avoid lemon, vinegar or bleach-based products.
  • Use coasters under beverages.

Natural veins and colour variations are part of genuine marble.

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.
  • Do not use abrasive metal cleaners unless suitable for the finish.

Some finishes may naturally develop a patina over time.

  • Use brass cleaner only if appropriate.
  • Avoid excessive polishing.
  • Natural oxidation may occur over time.

10. HOME DECOR ITEMS

  • Display indoors unless specifically designed for outdoor use.

11. RUGS & CARPETS
